Prasat Bakheng built on top of the mountain Bakheng, is located between Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.
Prasat Bakheng built around the 9th and 10th centuries. Visitors can view all scenes far distance away,
forests, and even West Mebon, the largest reservoir (1760 hectares) in West Baray, and the beautiful rising towers of Angkor
Wat. Most popular times to visit Prasat Bakheng were during the sunrise and sunset.
Besides visiting all the beautiful scenes from afar, visitors enjoyed the walking uphill and climbing up the stair to the top of
mountain. The statue stands on a road to the top temple called Prah Ko (King of Ox). The mountain is 65 meters high, and
temples have 109 towers. The top platform has 76 square meters, and 13 meter high.
